    SUMMARY:

    The Logistics Specialist position provides support to ECS&R Sales and Operations to help ensure both external and internal customer needs are met. This position will have direct interaction with ECS&R routine customers to help proactively schedule pick-ups and deliveries and will assist with internal processes associated with services provided.

     

    PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Communicate with ECS&R customers to evaluate service needs based on service history, and current “milk-run” needs.
    • Assist with waste profiling, labeling, and manifesting
    • Assist with pricing/invoicing using ECS&R established procedures
    • Coordinate Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection schedules/events
    • Internal tracking of HHW materials received by ECS&R
    • Serve as the internal link between Sales and Operations

     

    ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

    • Develop systems/procedures to increase process efficiencies
    • Travel with Sales Representations to meet Customer contacts and understand needs
    • Visit project sites to observe site activities from an operation’s perspective

    Schedule: Variable Start and End times,  may work 12-14 hr days, seven days per week

    Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Must  have CDL A or B license, and valid DOT Medical Card.  Tanker endorsement and haz-mat preferred.

    Summary: Drive truck with capacity of more than 3 tons , to transport material to and from specified destinations by performing the following duties:

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform operation of a commercial motor vehicle(s) with frequent stops and pickups
    • Prepare BOL’s, manifests, and all other associated paperwork required for loads picked up/delivery
    • Maintains truck logs, according to state and federal regulations
